Wir befinden uns in einem Zeitalter exponentiellen Fortschritts. Das Mooresche Gesetz besagt, dass sich die Leistung von Mikroprozessoren etwa alle zwei Jahre verdoppelt. Und seit Gordon Moore dies im Jahr 1965 vorausgesagt hat, behielt er recht. Und nicht nur bei den Mikroprozessoren sehen wir diesen Fortschritt. Smartphones, Elektroautos und Flugzeuge erleben alle ständige Updates und Verbesserungen. Aber eins vergessen dabei viele: Fortschritt ist nichts, was von alleine passiert!
